Have a beautiful weekend!
Michelle Pfeiffer makes her mark, Pucci brights, Claudia Schiffer steps into spring, and more.
Hello, happy Saturday!
How are you doing? I hope you had a good rest of your week (a Bank Holiday weekend—especially a long one—always throws me off for the whole week 🤪—anyone else?). We’ve also had some concerns over my dear, ninety-something dad (something for another Substack, and most likely not the MBE—although I know the wrenching hard-ness of loving and caring for our elderly parents, when all we want to do is turn back the clock, is something so many will relate to), plus a poorly elderly cat in the mix, so it’s been bit of a week. I was planning to write first thing this morning, before watching the livestream from Rome of Pope Francis’ funeral Mass, which was so moving.
But here we are on Saturday evening now in the UK, so, without further ado—onto the week’s news!
Starting with this rather fabulous photo of Camille Miceli, artistic director of Pucci, at the ribbon-cutting of a new Pucci store in Texas.

Cowboy boots (and phone cover) goals.

Is it just me or is this shot of Michelle Pfeiffer in Hollywood yesterday giving The Fabulous Baker Boys?
