Way to glow!
Charming ideas for spring, Westman Atelier's new Sun Tone Bronzing Drops, Odile Paris Glow Elixir, Brooke Shields on age and experience, and more.
Hello! Happy Saturday! How are you?
I hope your weekend is off to a good start. While I’m loathe to mention the weather again (tell me you’re British without, etc.), the sun made a comeback today—hurrah!
The sunshine makes this weekend’s spring-ready Substack reading— and both flag some lovely, get-ahead-of-the-game garden furniture ideas—all the more tantalising (so near, yet so not-there-quite!).
We can dream, paint our toenails red, and string up a few IKEA solar lanterns in the meantime (I grabbed some of these the other week—bargain!).
Speaking of garden goals and inspirational Substacks, ’s new book, The New Romantic Garden was published this week, to rave reviews—it looks beautiful, and I can’t wait to dive in (it would make a wonderful Easter gift!).
Before we get into today’s edition of The Weekend Edit, the BIGGEST welcome to everyone who has joined us this week! And thank you, so much, to all those who upgraded, or jumped on board with, a paid subscription, with the one year MBE anniversary offer.
Sign up now, and get 75% off a paid subscription (monthly or annual, and good for a whole year), which works out at £1-ish a month! For that, you’ll receive all paywalled weekday posts, unlock the archive, and be able to access the Chat.
Paid subscribers receive all weekday posts, PLUS The Weekend Edit in full each Saturday—a round-up of beauty and style news stories from the week, such as last weekend’s BAFTAs special—as well as unlocking the archive, and access to the Chat. Free subs receive The Monthly Edit (free for all each month), a preview of weekday posts (plus occasional free posts, such as yesterday’s, on the new Jones Road The Hero Kit).
